combining blog spots

If you tried to find my old blog at "rickdoctor" and could not or it looked strange, I am sorry -- apparently there are some businesses using the name 'rickdoctor', causing confusion for sites and addresses using that title. So I am gong to use this one, and hope that those who care to see it will be able to get here. This is a blog spot that I have not really used much but set up several years ago --I have changed it to hopefully be more user friendly or viewer friendly -- I hope it is worth the visit for you.

I am still quite attached to "stickmanrick" anyway -- so let the other people who have taken moniker of 'rickdoctor' be happy and 'eat cake'...

I just wanted to run on over and say how much I appreciated this comment you left on "A Well Behaved Mormon Woman"'s Blog:

I think the dress is truly modest...the definition is mostly in the eye of the beholder anyway. And one's attitude determines the 'eternal' nature of the marriage relationship, not the words, since a lot of LDS spouses do not have anywhere near an 'eternal' attitude, despite having been sealed in the temple, and a lot of non-LDS have a wonderful 'eternal' attitude, despite not having a temple sealing -- the attitude and heart will determine, not what is 'on paper'. Those without a temple sealing who have the 'eternal attitude and heart' will have the opportunity for eternal marriage. We must all be working on that -- there must be two 'perfect spouses', both individually and as a couple.

I thought what you said was beautiful, and perfect, and very true and made me feel much better. I love the LDS community so much, but I also frequently feel so judged and put down for the religious beliefs I was raised with- which is very difficult to swallow considering the LDS should know better than anyone how much that hurts.

What you said lifted me up and I needed it and I wanted to say thank you!

I also don't know if you saw the comment immediately following yours, written by someone named "jeff", and Idon't know who it was directed at- those believeing in Celestial Marriage or the rest of us but it's a good thing his profile is unlisted because he was certainly not "christian" in his comments.

There's never a reason to be unkind, and that is what we all need to remember...
